Return Policy: You have 14 days to return an item from the date that item was delivered if the item is not as described. To be eligible for a return the product purchased must be unused and in the same condition.
Refund Policy: Once seller has received the items, seller will let you know that they have been received and will be given 30 days to evaluate if it is in the same condition as when it was delivered. Seller shall let you know the status of your refund as soon as inspection of the item is finished. When approved, seller will refund buyer with the original method of payment minus any transaction fees associated with original purchase or refund.
Return Shipping: Buyer will be responsible for paying the costs of shipping the items back to the seller. The costs of shipping are non-refundable and non-negotiable. If issued a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from it.
Shipping Terms: Brighton Discount Solar offers a variety of LTL Freight shipping methods. Shipping and processing times are typically between 5-15 business days and are based on business days (Monday to Friday) excluding holidays and weekends. If shipping and processing are going to take longer than usual for your order, we will update you via email with the new expected timeline.
Depending on your order, your purchase may arrive in multiple packages. Shipments cannot be rerouted once a package has been shipped.
If your order needs replacements or refunds due to shipping errors or damages in shipment, please email us at brightondiscountsolar@gmail.com While we strive to provide the best quality products and expect a high level of service from our third-party shipping carriers, we recognize that at times a product or delivery method does not meet our standards or quoted delivery date. Due to unforeseen issues potentially occurring, we strongly suggest that you wait until you receive and verify your products as we cannot be held responsible for delays in scheduled work.
We must be notified of concealed damage (any damage not notated on the delivery slip upon delivery) within 3 days of delivery. We are not responsible for the disposal and/or any disposal fees associated with disposing of damaged panels.
Warranties: Buyer acknowledges that product sales include a warranty of Modules’ performance starting from the date of sale. Full Manufacturer Warranty (new solar modules) OR Limited Product Warranty (used solar modules) – One Year Repair or Replacement. If Modules malfunction, become inoperative due to defect in material or workmanship, or values to maintain stated wattage values during the period of 12 months from the Warranty Start Date, as proved by an independent testing agency that will be selected and confirmed by Brighton Discount Solar and Customer in advance, Brighton Discount Solar will, at its sole option, either repair or replace the malfunctioning or inoperative Modules. The repair or replacement remedy shall be the sole and exclusive remedy provided under this Limited Product Warranty and shall not extend beyond the period set forth herein.
Force Majeure: Seller shall not be responsible for any claims or damages resulting from any delays in performance or for non-performance due to unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond Seller’s reasonable control.
Limitation of Liability:
a) Damages Seller will not be liable for any indirect, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits) arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the transactions it contemplates (whether for breach of contract, tort, negligence, or other form of action) and irrespective of whether Seller has been advised of the possibility of any such damage. In no event will Seller’s liability exceed the price paid by Buyer to Seller for the Goods giving rise to the claim or cause of action.
b) Electrical Disclaimer Brighton Discount Solar strongly recommends that you consult with a licensed electrician, contractor, or other properly qualified and licensed tradesperson before undertaking any installation of solar equipment. Please note, Brighton Discount Solar is a distributor only, it is imperative that you carefully read and understand all applicable manufacturer’s instructions and specifications. Before you undertake any installation of solar equipment, The released parties shall not be liable for any such claims, damages, losses, or demands regardless of whether the liability is a result from any active or passive act, error, omission, or negligence of any released party or is based on claims in which liability without fault or strict liability is imposed or sought to be imposed on any of the released parties.
c) Laws and Regulations It is imperative that you carefully read and understand all applicable manufacturer’s instructions and specifications. Before you undertake any installation of solar equipment, it is imperative that you consult all applicable laws, regulations, safety rules, and codes, and consider the unique characteristics of your property and project. Some of the equipment may be illegal in your jurisdiction, and/or may be inappropriate for your specific property or project. When in doubt, hire a professional to make sure your installation is completed correctly in a structurally and mechanically sound manner and in compliance with all applicable laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you, on behalf of yourself and your principals, employees, agents, representatives, guardians, successors, assigns, heirs, children, and next of kin (the “releasors”), waive all claims (in law, equity or otherwise), damages, losses, and demands for personal injury, death, and or property damage that the releasors may have (now or in the future) against the released parties, whether known or unknown, arising from or relating to your use of the materials, including any resulting loss of use, economic losses, and consequential damage of any kind.
Risk of Loss: Title to and risk of loss of the Goods shall pass to Buyer upon shipment of the Goods in accordance with this Agreement.
Cancellation of Sales Orders: Once Brighton Discount Solar has issued a Sales Order confirmation, all prices are locked-in and there is a binding contract between the parties to complete the transaction. Any Sales Order cancellations after Sales Order Confirmation are subject to charge of any Merchant Service Fees associated. If applicable, you agree you have full responsibility and liability to Brighton Discount Solar for any cancellation fee and you agree to remit immediately (upon notice) to Brighton Discount Solar good funds for any cancellation fee.
Tax Credits: In some cases, you may be eligible for State and or Federal solar initiatives. Every individual's tax situation is different. Please consult a tax professional to make sure your situation is applicable. In no event shall Brighton Discount Solar whether internally or externally connected to our company, be held liable to you or any third party for any damages, or losses.
Privacy Policy: We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.
When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.
